On September 27th, 2024, Universal Home Health and Hospice Care had the privilege of participating in the Hardin County Senior Expo as a silver sponsor. The event, hosted by Bridges Community Care and Hardin County United Way, was a fantastic opportunity to connect with seniors in the community and share valuable health tips. At our booth, our Director of Nursing assisted seniors with a hands-on demonstration of proper hand hygiene using our hand wash and sanitize station. This innovative setup allowed participants to see just how many germs can still linger on their hands, even after washing. It was an eye-opening experience that emphasized the importance of thorough handwashing and proper sanitization, especially for those in sensitive health conditions. We’re grateful for the opportunity to engage with the local senior community and promote healthier living. Be sure to check out some highlights from the event below! At Universal, we’re committed to providing not only exceptional home health and hospice care but also valuable education to help keep our community safe and healthy. Stay tuned for more updates and events!
